Context
A music loving friend of mine was remodelling his living room, reducing the amount of cupboards and increasing open shelving, however, he was unable to find a suitably beautiful way to display his CD collection.
Strategy
Physical music storage retains a unique habitual action, the flicking through of CD’s/Vinyls to chose what to play. However, no existing shelf display product considers or allows for this action. This product is designed to be used like bookends, but with the added function of a ‘flick’ that drops the CDs down at an angle and allows the user to browse through them before flicking them back upright again (should they wish).
